Family Ramblings
I am the full-time working mom of this family which I bring along with me on this virtual ride in blogsphere. Just call me Addie … yes, that is a real name. I am married to a wonderful man, whom we shall only refer to as Daddy. We have been married for nearly 10 years now. We love living in sunny South Afica even though we have a lousy internet hook up!!! Some day it will all improve.
we have a son aged 7 and a daughter aged 3. “They” have three dogs and a cockatiel. I trust you will enjoy this journey with us.
MY DEDICATION TO MY FAMILY -
I give thanks and praise to God for all blessings especially my family. We are taught from an early age to say “thank you” for the gifts we receive and to express our appreciation. Yet we may forget to give thanks and praise to God for the blessings we receive every day (like having family) — blessings that we are so accustomed to having that we may take them for granted.
Love isn’t a state of perfect caring,
it is an active noun like
“struggle”
To love someone is to strive to accept
that person exactly the way he or she is,
right here and now - and to go on caring
even through times that may bring us pain
