Busy days ahead 7 November, 2006

I can’t believe it is exactly a month from today that we leave to Australia for a month long holiday
but I am more worried then excited … do you realise that my year has literally been shortend by 4 weeks. How is that possible? While everything I have still have to do, I have to do it now - before I go on holiday. The two weeks into December is not really at my disposal like it always has been. We get back from Aus two days before school starts. That means I have to do all (yes all) the stationary supplies and uniforms before the I go on holiday!!!!! At work I am responsible for our departments budget requirements for the new financial year. I usually have to submit the new budget proposals by the 15th of December … I’ll be on leave then, so I’ll have to submit it before I go on leave … that cuts my time short with two weeks. Oh my goodness, will I ever get out of this alive???
Caleb has swimming trials on Saturday. His swimming instructor feels that he is strong enough to swim in a larger pool then the one she is currently using. He has to go on Saturday morning and trials will be an hour long. Caleb is very excited about the whole idea. Bigger pools … big boy!
Chloe is currently practising for their creche’s end of year play. Not sure what the theme is, but Chloe is gonna be a sheep - I need to hire a sheep costume for her. I will probably have to do this on Saturday as well.
Busy busy busy days ahead for this family.
Oh, by the way … my shopping list of “gifts” for the family in Australia changes EVERY DAY. My brother simply loves it when he gets visitors from South Africa, cos now he can have all his wants and cravings for things “from home” satisfied. I get an email from him everyday … sis, please bring along …; sis, don’t worry about the message from yesterdsay … rather bring me this … and so it goes on. Hopefully I will remain sane enough to enjoy my holiday
And that’s not all folks!!! Tomorrow I am off to Cape Town for three days on a business trip. Please pray that my sanity prevails!!!!!
I am managing my techie frustrations rather well. In the last week I set up a Flickr account … I still need to organize my sets. I will put a link in my sidebar soon … before I go on holiday, I promise. I can evn blog a post from my flickr account. Anybody notice how frequently pictures appear in my blog posts??? I also managed to register and map my own domain … look at the URL. Doesn’t that look cool
YOU GO, GIRL!!!!

Definitely a good thing about your son learning to swim, especially since Australia has never ending beaches like we do here in nz.
Addiesramblings…nice job.
I would love to try Autstralia for a month, you’d better post details and pictures! Have fun.
You’ll have a great time I so long to go back to Australia but very unlikely
